Aluminum PCB selection is a thermal and electrical decision together. The manufacturer should review the metal core, dielectric, copper, mounting interface, and assembly temperatures as one build package.

• Confirm thermal conductivity, dielectric isolation, breakdown voltage, metal-core thickness, and the interface to the enclosure or heatsink.
• Review copper weight, pad geometry, thermal vias where applicable, surface finish, and soldering constraints for power or LED assemblies.
• State whether the design needs a single-layer metal-core build, multilayer construction, cutouts, or mechanical features around the thermal path.
