Turnkey PCB Assembly

Turnkey PCB Assembly from BOM to Finished Board

One supplier for turnkey PCB assembly: component sourcing, PCB fabrication, assembly and test. You send the design files, we return boards ready to build into your product.

What a Turnkey Build Covers

Everything a turnkey PCB assembly order covers, from your design files to a box of tested boards.

Component sourcing

We buy from authorized distributors and franchised channels, flag long-lead and obsolete parts, and propose approved alternates before the build starts.

PCB fabrication

Boards are fabricated to the same stackup and surface finish as the assembly order, so impedance and solderability stay consistent across the batch.

SMT and through-hole assembly

High-speed SMT lines for 01005 up to 15 mm tall parts, plus wave and selective soldering for through-hole and mixed-technology boards.

Test and inspection

AOI on every board, X-ray on BGA and QFN, plus ICT or functional test when your test plan calls for it.

What to Send With Your Inquiry

A turnkey PCB assembly quote is only as good as the data package behind it. Four files decide most of the price, so sending them together usually removes a whole round of questions.

1

Bill of materials

An Excel or CSV BOM with manufacturer part numbers, reference designators, quantities and acceptable substitutes. If a line is critical, mark it — we will not swap it silently.

2

Gerber and drill files

RS-274X Gerbers plus the Excellon drill file, and the original CAD or ODB++ if you have it. Layer count, stackup and surface finish should be written down, not inferred.

3

Test and quality requirements

Whether you need AOI only, X-ray on BGA, ICT, or a functional test with a fixture. A test spec changes both price and lead time, so it belongs in the first message.

4

Mechanical and packaging data

Enclosure drawings, panelisation preference, labelling and the packing standard your warehouse expects. This is what keeps a finished batch from stalling at goods-in.

How a Turnkey Order Runs

Four steps, one point of contact.

  1. 1

    Send BOM and Gerbers

Upload your BOM, Gerber files and any assembly drawings. We check the packages against the BOM and reply with questions the same working day.

  2. 2

    DFM review and quote

We return a DFM report covering footprints, paste apertures, panelization and component availability, with a fixed price and lead time.

  3. 3

    Sourcing and build

Components are kitted and inspected on arrival, then boards run through paste printing, placement, reflow and through-hole soldering.

  4. 4

    Test and ship

Every board is inspected and tested against the agreed plan, packed with traceability records and shipped with the component lot data.

Why Teams Move From Consigned to Turnkey

Consigned assembly splits one board across several suppliers. Turnkey PCB assembly puts the whole build under one purchase order, and that changes what happens when something goes wrong.

One party owns the shortage

When a part is short, a consigned model turns into a negotiation between you, the distributor and the assembler. Under turnkey there is one supplier to chase and one schedule to hold.

Substitutes get decided by engineers

We check an alternative against the datasheet, the footprint and the circuit before offering it, so you approve or reject one line instead of screening a distributor list yourself.

Fewer hands on the boards

Parts are counted, stored and issued against your BOM in the same building that assembles and tests the board, so handling damage and mixed-reel errors drop.

Turnkey Assembly Questions

What files do I need to send for a turnkey quote?

A BOM with manufacturer part numbers and reference designators, Gerber files, and your pick-and-place file. Assembly drawings or a test specification help but are not required for a first turnkey PCB assembly quote.

Do you source the components or do I?

Turnkey means we source. If you already hold stock or have a preferred supplier, you can consign the parts instead and we assemble them. Both models run on the same line.

How do you handle obsolete or long-lead parts?

We flag them during DFM review, before anything is purchased. You then choose between an approved alternate, a last-time buy, or consigning your own stock.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Prototype runs from a handful of boards are fine, and pricing improves with volume. Ask for a prototype quote and a production quote so you can compare.
